Common questions
When are reminder texts sent?
DetailFlowPro sends one SMS reminder 24 hours before the appointment. There is currently no second reminder and no configurable timing.
Can a customer cancel their appointment by texting back?
No. Replying to a reminder text does not cancel or change a booking. To cancel or reschedule, a customer should contact the business directly. Texting STOP unsubscribes from future messages only — it does not cancel any appointment.
What if a customer opts out of texts?
If a customer texts "STOP," they are automatically removed from future SMS reminders. This is handled by the platform — you don't need to manage opt-outs manually. The customer's profile is flagged as SMS opt-out.
Is SMS available on all plans?
SMS reminders are available on Growth ($99/mo) and Professional ($199/mo) plans. The Starter plan does not include SMS reminders.
